Q: How often do you post jobs?
A: We post new jobs daily. A great way to stay connected is to visit our Current Job Listings and subscribe to it. You will then be automatically notified when a new listing hits.
Q: How do I get to your locations?
A: Visit our Locations page.
Q: Do I have to pay a fee to Employment Resource Center?
A: No, there is never any charge to candidates.
Q: My resume information has changed since I last submitted my information. How do I update your records?
A: Submit your resume information again and upload the new resume in Word or Text only at the Submit Resume page or contact ERC at 218-824-9675.
Q: Does Employment Resource Center offer only contract jobs?
A: Absolutely not. Employment Resource Center offers several kinds of working opportunities. Many of our contract assignments are temp-to-hire. This allows both you and the client a chance to determine whether a particular job is a good fit. You may request to only be considered for permanent placement. Please discuss this with your recruiter during your initial consultation.
Q: What kinds of jobs are available?
A: We currently offer opportunities in the Manufacturing, Construction, Technology, Accounting, Administrative and Hospitality sectors.
Q: What should I bring to my Employment Resource Center interview?
A: When you interview with Employment Resource Center, bring a copy of your resume if available, 2 forms of identification that shows who you are and that you have a right to work in the U.S. (example: Social Security Card, Driver's License, Passport, Birth Certificate, Military ID just to name a few)
Q: Will my skills be tested?
A: To ensure that you're the right candidate for the demands of a specific job, we may assess your skills and characteristics in order to place you in an environment in which you'll be successful.
Q: Generally, how long will the interview process take?
A: Please allow 1 hour and arrive 5 min early. This may vary depending on skills testing, accepting a position, etc.
